History repeats and gold makes a comeback

This is an excellent primer on gold's role in history and would be great reading for any general world history student. The connection between political aims and currency debasement is described throughout the centuries - actually, millenia. Their argument is logical, and the book is a facinating and fast read, devoid of superfluous nonsense. It gives excellent investment advice if you are a gold bug. Great specific recommendations. A great reference for precious metal investing. They even cover rare coin collecting and specific stock ideas. I thought the section on the world's central banks roles in the gold market was the most valuable part of the book.
