The connection between political aims and currency debasement is described throughout the centuries - actually, millenia. Their argument is logical, and the book is a facinating and fast read, devoid of superfluous nonsense. It gives excellent investment advice if you are a gold bug. Great specific recommendations. A great reference for precious metal investing. They even cover rare coin collecting and specific stock ideas. I thought the section on the world's central banks roles in the gold market was the most valuable part of the book.
