Why has Will Eisner been called the greatest thing to happen to comics? This book is the reason. All of the techniques he used and why he used them are outlined in this book. His was a drive to show that comics were not just for little kids but also, and maybe primarily, for adults. This book shows how he used not just words, but the images and the way the images were shown to tell a story and set a scene.
