I loved everything about my CD. Mom's Mabley was a funny lady, when I was younger. I did not dislike anything about it, and that is the truth. I decided to buy it because she brings back the memories of when I first saw her on the Ed Sullivan show, when the times were different, when people did not shoot each other "just for the heck of it", "cuz you made me mad", when things were not so uptight, or unhappy. When people laughed and laughed hard at comedy.

It was a pleasure to listen to this CD I heard a lot about the skits from my parents. This will have you laughing from start to finish. Very surprised by now well the sound quality came from the recording.

I bought it as a surprise gift to my brother. We used to listen to Moms Mabley when we were younger and enjoyed it.

I am so pleased with my purchase of 'Comedy Ain't Pretty' with Mom's Mabley. This hilarious cd is full of precious details that provide a humor to the turbulence of life in the 1960's. I would encourage anyone to buy this cd as a personal item or gift. More so if you remember the excentric image of a tattered woman in a house coat and shower cap with no teeth enlightening the world through comedy. If Ed Sullivan had her on his show continuously she had to be good!
