I purchased Come Spring as it is about the settling of the Hope, Liberty and Appleton area of Maine. It was of interest only for that reason. Action consisted of cutting of trees, planting of seeds and waiting for spring. Action it is not. Perhaps the best feature of the book is character development.

This is a book of the history of a small town in Maine ( Union), it is based on true people, and is a wonderful historic novel, some of course is fiction. This particular book was a soft cover version in very good condition. A really good read .
