I wanted a soothing lulliby album for my granddaughter who is a wee child. I enjoy the soothing melodies.

) I bought this CD because I needed a new CD for putting my 12 month old to bed. She loves "guy" voices, and I am familiar with Michael Card, and know he has a soothing, relaxing voice. Overall, I am happy with the CD -- there are a few songs, though, with a woman singing with a high pitch voice. I do not like those songs, and I skip over those. There are also a couple that seem to be in a minor key, so I skip those too. About half the CD is suitable for my daughter's bedtime rocking, so I think this was worth the purchase.

The Most Beautiful Music
) This CD includes some of the most beautiful and unique lyrics I've ever heard. The songs aren't just little lullabies for babies. They have such powerful messages about God's love, protection, sovereignty, and more.
Someone gave us this album (a cassette then), before our daughters were born (12 yrs ago). I would play this cassette in the nursery and sing the songs to my daughter. It means so much to me because they remember the tunes today. I was thrilled to find that it was still available--and especially on CD. We had played our cassette so many times that it would no longer play. I am so happy to share it with my little nieces & nephew.
If you are wondering what kind of gift to get someone, please consider "Come To the Cradle". The legacy left by Michael Card is priceless.
