Filled with beautiful photographs, this book provides interesting information about the history of printed and embroidered towels, along with helpful price guides, details about many manufacturers and advise on how to care for vintage towels. Towels are divided into categories so that the book is easy to use as a reference when buying or selling items. Categories include florals, fruit & veggie, hand-embroidered, ethnic, western, whimsicals, cocktail themed, striped, designer signed, humorous and animals. I keep this book by my computer and refer to it often when preparing items for auction. I would definitely recommend it for anyone interested in collecting vintage towels as well as people who collect vintage printed tablecloths as many of those designs are printed on towels as well.

I bought this book because I wanted to see the towels that the author Erin Henderson bought from me to use in the book. Yes, several are in the book and it was fun to see them again. I buy and sell towels so the book is very helpful for dates and manufacturers of linens to use in my descriptions when selling on eBay. It's a great book for any vintage textile collector. The bargin price on ebay was excellent - big savings off the retail price. It is so easy to find almost anything eBay so that is why I shop there.
