The Color of Your Skin Ain't the Color of Your Heart by Michael R. Phillips (2004, Paperback)

I've read all four books in this series - Michael Phillips does his research - these stories could have been real instead of fictional - his writing is compelling. I purchased the first in this series at my local Walmart - then I went looking for the other three on Ebay and half.com, because I had to read the rest.

This book is one in a series and it has a continuing story. Just plain good reading and very interesting.

This series is my first experience with Michael Phillips.

This set of 4 books was "can't put down" quality.
The fourth book arrive two weeks after the others and
I felt as if I were missing someone in my family.
I've now started the second series, Carolina Cousins,
and the family is back.

I could not find this book. I looked on ebay and found it. It is the second in a series I am reading which is very good reading.

Extremely interesting - no insights on the post civil war era. This is a four part series. I read the first two and really enjoyed them. So, of course, I wanted the next two in the series.

Awesome story that you can't put down, has a gentle spiritual overtone to it that you can really apply to your life! Fun reading.

I read the other books of this series and loved them and wanted to see what happened.
They kept me in suspense on what was going to happen next.
