The Color Purple (DVD, 2007)

I loved how fast the item was shipped. It was brand new just as advertised. I decided to buy it because I wanted it on DVD for a long time now and the company seemed reputable and they are.

This movie has Oprah, Whoopie, Danny Glover and a cast that is superb. From the first time I saw this movie, I loved it. The story transeds time, generations and cultures. Just a great story and movie.

This is a classic movie. I am very excited to have found it on ebay for a great price. I bought this one for a friend for christmas. I have looked all over town for this movie and could not find it. But I should have known to look on ebay first.

love this movie, keeps you on your toes just shows how thing were back then , they sad very sad but they got theres in the end, i dont think there is another 4 hour movie that i would sit and watch, i couldent find this movie at a great price untill i went on ebay,awsome movie you gotta buy it nad buy it on ebay where you know your getting quality and low prices ... thank you

My wife and girls love this movie so I had to get it for them and me I always wanted to own it but never really saw the movie but only hear about it so I decided to get it.The movie is really good and plays clear on my Blue Ray DVD player. All of my friends really enjoye the DVD and asked me where I got it from and I directed them to you.

Good, classic movie. Movie was brand new in new wrapping and packaging. Shipping did take a few days. It appeared to be sent bulk shipping. I think this is why it took so long.

Saw the play Color Purple in Seattle, and wanted to see the film. So far, I haven't watched it yet, waiting for just the right time.

A classic from the moment it was released. Woopie Goldberg and Danny Glover, are captivating in this throw back to the early 1900, Steven Speilberg movie. A must see if you haven't seen it.

the color purple is a great movie for several reasons. it tells a story from the point of view of a child, who becomes an adult throughout the progression of the story, who was abused by her father and later her husband. it goes into details of how she overcame all her struggles of having her children given away and how by the stories end becomes closer to her loved ones. many who watch this movie will like it and enjoy how the story unfolds.

I love the movie had the vhs but who watches vhs anymore. Desided the buy the dvd but couldn't find the movie anywhere. Find it here,ordered it, got it within a few days fast shipping . I would order again..

O my goodness. I had just seen he play The Color Purple and wondered, Why don't I have this in my collections? Well I do now and have loaned it our several times. It is the best. You will truly enjoy this movie. Everyone should have received and Academy Award for their performances

What a wonderful all time classic. I have never been able to figure out why this movie or any of the actors/actresses never received awards, as they very well deserved it from this film. GREAT MOVIE!

The Color Purple is what started me on my path to obsess about not only the color but the movie...it makes me cry each and every time that I watch it and it was about time that I was on my way to owning this wonderful movie... Whoopi Goldburg was a classic in this movie and also Oprah Winfrey..in fact the entire cast did a wonderful job. I can not believe that it wasn't nominated for a Emmy, so disappointing!!
