Color Mixing Recipes by William F. Powell (2004, Hardcover, Spiral)

The book does just what it says: "Color Mixing Recipes". It also has a subtitle: "For Oil and Acrylic". I am also using the book for watercolor, simply bearing in mind that watercolor dries lighter than acrylic. It is printed on heavy paper with a finish that is stain resistant. It is hard to find fault with it!

I had seen the book in an art catalog, and decided that I wanted it. Checked eBay, and found that I could save about $4.00 on the book after including the shipping and handling! No brainer, I ordered from eBay.

As a new landscape artist, I tend to use the same colors straight from the tube. This book teaches you how to mix variations of color to give your paintings more depth.
An excellent reference book

I love this book. It is invaluable to an art student like me. My classes are intensive and I use this book every time I paint. It was also shipped inexpensively and quickly to me.
