I bought this book for my husband to use for his class. In the description of the book there was nothing about any writing in the book. The book had writing all the way through it. There was so much writing the book should not have been labeled acceptable for sale. As far as knowing anything about the book, I bought it for my husband so I only know what he told me.

I purchased College Writing Skills with Readings by John Langan because I teach at a junior college and it is the textbook chosen by Learning Support for English 97. This text is one used by many colleges for remedial courses. This text is poorly organized, lacks the number of activities needed for remedial students, and, in many cases, does not provide adequate explanation for understanding grammar and grammar use. It provides more of a review, and English 0097 students require basic explanation because many have not learned basic grammar and language concepts. On the other hand, the readings are excellent--engaging and relative to the type of writing we do in remedial writing. Although this text was written by a well-reputed textbook author, this particular book does not meet the needs of its intended audience.

The Book was in good condition and I need it for school which was a lot cheaper than buying it from school Thank You IT WAS EXCELLENT
