Since the directions for this review stated explicably, "This is your review of the product and not a review of any seller that might have sold you this product," the comments following this remark will critique the book rather than the seller. The book did not meet my expectations in regard to teaching the intricacies of physics to novices like me. While the material in the book covers what you need to know, it does so in a manner that assumes readers to have some level of mathematical talent. One who struggles with math would not find this textbook to be user-friendly. On a more positive note, the book provides a wealth of practice problems. I personally have found this book to be a valuable resource, but only by teaching myself how to work the problems using only the question at hand, the answer key, and the trusty method of trial and error. I am occasionally graced with an epiphany of critical thinking...due more in part to my own persistence than the helpfulness of this text.

i like this book b/c it showed me some questions that are in the new edition so that I could get more problems to do and have answers from cramster so that I can figure out what im doing.

I don't understand physics, and this textbook does not help me at all. It is confusing and they don't explain the topics very well at all.

This book is extremely confusing and poorly put together. The only positives about the book are it's immense amount of questions at the end of each chapter. When "working through examples" during the chapter, the authors skip steps and assume that the readers already know what we're attempting to learn by reading the book. There are much better physics books out there, but for a required text it is alright.
