This book is the 2nd in the series. It has dolls catagorized by manufacturer and also indexes each doll (easy to use). It is packed with color photos, and often their boxes with identification tips and values ranges. An invaluable guide for any avid doll collector needing a complete reference for collecting. Be sure to check-out the 1st volume as well!

Both volumes in this series by Cindy Sabulis are REALLY great for identifying dolls and clothes. If you tend to buy box lots of loose items, you need FABULOUS reference books chock full of great photographs and descriptions and this is one of them!

I thought the book was really good. I am looking for a doll ,but could not find it in the book.I do not know much about the doll except it is adoll with molded hair,arms, legs and head, the doll does not do anything. the eyes are molded too. Any help where I could find onewould be great. It was made in the early 60s. Again I really enjoyed looking at the book.

It has alot of dolls and great pictures but if you are looking up a certain doll you have to go through all the pages to find her, unless you know her name and than you really wouldn't need the book to identifi would you?

This is a wonderful reference book for dolls of the 1960's and 70's.
It provides full-color photographs of dolls along with various outfits and up-to-date doll values.
It is of the same great quality as her previous book (also highly recommended)with many dolls which were not covered in that one.
She also provides additional information on buying and selling dolls and includes warm-hearted personal anecdotes.
Her books are a 'must-have' for the serious collector or any doll enthusiast!

I like to collect dolls from the mid 1960's to early 1970's. This book was helpful. I got to see dolls that I did not know existed. This book gave some price values.

Nostalgia in a book.This is the only guide book I have ever paid full price for. I saw it in the store and absolutly had to have it. I have read it over and over untill a few of the pages are starting to come out. This book has nice color pictures and helpful descriptions of the dolls I wish I had as a kid (and now, thanks to ebay, I do have many of them). She also gives identifying information such as markings and size on most of the dolls. If you are of the appropriate age, every page will make you smile.
