Collector's Guide to Classic O-Gauge Trains by David Doyle (2007, Paperback)

This is a valuable guide giving general values for o gauge items ranging from
steam and diesel locomotives, passenger and freight cars and trackside items.
In a few cases, I found items listed on Ebay and elsewhere that were not
included in the guide. Other items listed did not include pictures. Overall,
as a reference to bidding, I found the listed values generally in line with
what sellers were asking. In some cases, items listed on line were grossly
over priced. I give this guide a B+

The format and arrangement is excellent. The pictures are good and clear, more pictures are always welcome. Summaries of the companies is very interesting.

This book is good for pre-war trains and could use more information on trains in the 50's and 60's. I was not aware of it not having that information. That is what made me buy it. It is still a good book for information of the company's that made the trains.
