The Collector's Encyclopedia of Noritake by Joan Van Patten (1984, Hardcover)

This book has beautiful pictures and covers different Noritake patterns. However, it does not have an index by plate name, and the one is does provide is not very helpful (which is by plate number). I was dissapointed that most of the patterns that we are familiar with and love here in the U.S. were not covered in this book. I thought it would be, as I purchased this book specifically by the printing date. I regret to report that I did not find much useful information in it, although it did explain the various "stamp" designs they use and their significance/origin. Sandri
