Collector's Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll 2008 (2007, Hardcover, Collectors)

I bought Collector's Encyclopedia of Barbie Doll 2008 (2007) tohave a correct identification and value of dolls I have and dolls I want to buy. Now that I have it I can't imagine how could I be a barbie collector! Fantastic, complete, great photos, descriptions, everything! I loved it and wanna buy the others to learn more and more about barbie.

I really like the fact that this book brought in the newer year barbies, but was disappointed to see that the values listed had dropped from the 2004 edition that I already had. Also, this book left out quite a few barbies and did not include store exclusives and their value.

I would love to have a book that covers every barbie ever made which includes pictures, details, original prices, and their values.

Overall, this is still a useful book that has very good illustrations, but I still disagree with the price guide, and wonder why the values have dropped.

Buenas fotos de cajas y zoom de rostros. el tamaño aunque no es portatil es una excelente enciclopedia. Bella presentacion. Ahora a buscar los otros. y las actualizaciones.

Hello to everyone,i'm Catherine and i'm a barbie collector fun from Greece.I wanted this book very much,it has valuable informations about the dolls and i found it in great price and condition,it has also wonderful pictures inside.There is nothing to dislike in this book,it's just GREAT,thank you.

I love this hardcover, colorful, informative book! Every Barbie doll that is worth collecting is in this book. Micheal even added some one of a kind dolls and how much they sold for in the back of this book. If you are on the fence about buying this book and you're not sure if it's worth the money, let me tell you, it is! I love to look at the beautiful photographs of all the Barbies. He has face shots, full body, and box shots of everyone! He gives a detailed explanation about every doll including what makes each one special. Also, he has the dolls seperated into categories and has a detailed index at the back. I'm telling you, I read the entire book the first night I recieved it and I have used it almost every day since. Any time I am going to buy a doll, I consult "The Book" first! Trust me: buy it, you won't regret it!!!

I collect Barbie accessories and dolls and ths book is extremely helpful in showin me the alue of what I hae collected and also as a quide to what I wish to possibly purchase on eBAY.

I love his barbie encyclopedias, they are always very informative, great pictures and descriptions. Gives you an idea of value of your dolls or ones you might want to buy.

The book was incomplete in that a few dolls were not listed , although the listing was exstensive . The book is a great help to the co0llector . I was very satisfied with my purchase .

I wanted a good price guide that covered all Barbies like the old Whites Guide that covered all Barbies,ornaments,action figures,etc.etc.But this book fell far short of my expectations. But this book does not cover a lot of dolls.

I was looking for a new price guide for the newer dolls on the market and some of the older Barbie's I just like to keep things up to date as much as I can. I like the book a hole lot & think that it is a real good reference.

I like everything about this collector's book! It has detailed and close-up photos of the different models of dolls, detailed descriptions of the costumes and accessories and more. It is very useful for all Barbie collectors, novice or beginner!
