Collectible Glassware from the 40's 50's 60's
This used book (3rd edition, 1995) has detailed descriptions and great color photos of 67 patterns of collectible glassware from a variety of manufacturers. Manufacturers represented are Jeannette, Westmoreland, Anchor Hocking and Fire-King, Fostoria, A.H. Heisey, Hazel Atlas and Hazel Ware, Cambridge, Indiana, Imperial, Fenton, Federal, New Martinsville & Viking (listed in order of appearance). As a novice in collectible glassware, I learned a great deal and enjoyed the book, and it will be useful for identification. As an older volume, it doesn't include current prices and some collectibility may have changed over time. It is not encyclopedic but rather shows variety and sampling of the makers and patterns of the era 40's, 50's, 60's.
I'd recommend it as a reference; and would advise to find the best price for a used version.
