Great things come in little packages.

Most of my jewelry books are larger in size. When this book arrived I was slightly nervous that I might have made a bad purchase. I WAS WRONG... This book has amazing jewelry pieces that you might find one day. They were not overly extravagant, they were gorgeous and felt attainable for collectors.
I would say that the prices quoted seemed very inflated. The author states that the prices quoted are for pieces in excellent condition and quotes are compiled based on the rarity, and also what she had seen these pieces for at flea markets, estate sales, antique stores and online.
Don't buy this book if you are looking for big colorful photos to salivate over. Instead she groups pieces and numbers them (with little round stickers, great touch) and then tells you if the piece is signed, what it's made of, where it's from and the price. Nothing more.
I think it's a must have for those who collect unsigned beauties, and if some of my pieces ever sell for any of these prices quoted, I'll be a very happy woman.
