The Collectible Barbie Doll by Janine Fennick (1996, Hardcover)

Great book with lots of wonderful color photos and information about Barbie's history. It's a good basic book for beginners too. I recommend it highly.

I loved all the pictures of the Barbie dolls thru the development of the doll. I just became a new barbie doll collector so this was a good beginner book for me. it had a lot of good advice, pictures and easy reading. I realize the book was over 10 years old but barbie really never ages. The price was the best thing $ 1.04 how can you beat that? It was a hard cover and the description was as described, so no surprises. I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase

This is a BEAUTIFUL over sized (Coffee Table) book. Excellent reference book on Barbie's changing clothing styles,hair,and of Barbie herself. The book also includes many photos of her friends and family. Incredible large color pictures give way to the fine details of her outfits all of which are now considered vintage. Very well written history throughout.

The blue book is small and easy to have by the computer. It has pages with just he vintage outfits and easy to find the last minute auction style bidding. I already had one I used alot, and decided to have one by my chair and one by the computer. This kind of book is wonderful for last minute internet bidding and sometimes means you get a great buy from someone who is not into dolls or clothes, but has a very vintage collectible. The large white book has very large pictures of some of the most collectible barbies, and special editions such as Bob Mackie and more. It is just fun to look through. Great buy, great reference, and easy to use. picasimus

This book has wonderful pictures of Barbie dolls including one of a kind Barbie dolls. Nice addition for the library of any Barbie enthusiast.

Well organised LARGE book.Lots of nice photos.Lots of vintage items,markings etc.Some fashion, some designer dolls.Not thorough in any way;rather, a sampling.A fun book overall.
