I think Colette is quite a cake baker and unbelievable decorator..Her book shows great pictures to follow and her instructions are easy to follow. This is a book I would recommend to anyone who is extremely interested in cake decorating and baking..

This book is by a woman who is known all over the world for her impeccable work in cakes. She gives great tips on where to locate various materials needed to complete the level of cakes she designs. There are some things a beginner may be able to attempt in this book however I think this would be more inclined to give inspiration or tips to an intermediate or skilled decorator. Beautiful Pictures and clear to understand directions.

Very descriptive book, outstanding information. She shares so much information that can be used by anyone, from beginner to advanced. Best book of this nature I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Refer to it often!!!

I bought it because I want to have the complete C.Peters books collection. Besides the cake in front page and others, I did not find anything interesting. Cakes to dream on beats it at all.I thought the book had more, let say, crazy designs but they are a kind of common. The book was published in 1991, I guess that in the last 15 years Ms. Peter had found and polished her outstanding and unique cake decorating style that I love and really inspire me.
