Movie Description Legendary Mexican singer-actor Cornelio Reyna was renowned as one of the premier artists of the ranchero musical tradition, mastering the sound of the bajo sexto guitar while playing with the Norteño band Los Relampagos del Norte throughout most of the 1960s. In the '70s, the ranchero idol turned his hand to acting, appearing in over a dozen films that purveyed the singing-cowboy formula of action, romance, and musical interludes. This collection of classic Mexican cinema presents three of Reyna's most beloved 1970s musicals: GUADALAJARA ES MEXICO (1975), DE COCULA ES EL MARIACHI (1977), and ME CAISTE DEL CIELO (1975). The films are presented in Spanish without subtitles.
