The Cold Moon by Jeffery Deaver, Jeffrey Deaver (2007, Paperback, Reprint)

This being a Lincoln Rhyme novel pretty much says all that needs to be said. Deaver does an excellent job at giving credance to his characters. The bad guy is interesting and meticulous, and keeps the reader guessing. I really enjoyed the introduction of the new characters to Rhyme's group as well as having some of the old characters involved in the hunt for 'the bad guys'. There was less techinology language about the machines that help in the investigations, which allows for more of a human approach in the way of kinesics. Though there are some low spots in the story, they are few and far between, so the story keeps the readers interest and sent me to the internet to find out more about kinesics. This is a great read!

I have been a big fan of Jeffery Deaver since he first started the Lincoln Rhyme character. This novel is superb and keeps Lincoln and Amelia alive and brilliant.
