Cold Fear (PlayStation 2, 2005)

The game is OK. That is about it. Will never beat Resident Evil. Other than that the gore is alright. Make sure your kids are NOT getting thier hands on this one.

Don't think of it as a poor man's Resident Evil 4, its a decent horror game and you can probably find it for sale for a few dollars. I actually found the controls better than Resident Evil 4.

This was an awesome game. I had never heard anything about it before. Has lots of surprises and twists.
Got it for a great deal off E-Bay.

enjoyed the game play, though the aim was not my cup of tea, especially with the shotgun, would have liked the ability to be more precise and accurate with shots, i liked the graphics and the enemies and forground interaction made for good strategy and involvement. Some sort of map would have been nice, i found myself lost a few times in the game, looking at the names on doors only does so much. i think that the story could have used a bit more work, specifically the clean up, the ending left more to be desired, where do the characters go from here? i like this style game, pseudo rpg, decisive action clear cut goals and stage freedoms. all in all a pretty entertaining game.

This game was great.It was alot like resident evil games,but with something different added to it.You start off on a ship.The seas are rough,and you know it.It makes for aiming a little tough at first.But you can adapt.I really enjoyed playing it.Yhe only thing missing was a map of anything.No map for when you are on the boat,or on the Oil platform and facility.So you have to run around and try to remember where you are and where you had been.But other than that it was great.

Pros
+ Creepy atmosphere!!!
+ Has the cinematic feel of the old Resident Evil games as well as a behind the back camera angle.
+ Awesome visuals on a boat that is at times just as scary as the monsters you fight.

Cons
- Camera angles can still be a bummer since some of the enemies move super fast at times.
- Ending feels forced and doesn't explain some things well enough.
- Most of the time you fight crazed Russians rather than monsters.

This game will never be Resident Evil 4 but it can try as it may. The characters are not so interesting but the game is fun, visuals are slick, and looking out ino the sea is an awesome experience that makes you think the boat just may capsize at times. Just think of this as 'Resident Evil' & 'The Thing' all rolled into one and put on a whaler ship. There are a lot of creepy moments that you just should not pass up.

Must buy for horror fans but all others should probably rent first. 4/5

Great service, outstanding game. Disk was in great condition and came with all appropriate guides. Delivery was timely and the cosy of delivery fair for the size of product.
