Coded Arms (PlayStation Portable, 2005)

This was the very first game I got for my PSP, so I admittedly had high expectations. That also meant I didn't have anything else to compare it to, so my experience was essentially unbiased.

The first thing I noticed is the cool factor; the menus and settings and stuff look futuristic, and flaunt the PSP's graphics.

The game itself has very nice graphics, and the controls are simple to use (especially since there are no 'head shots', so the lock-on really helps). The worst part is that although the scenery (well sorta, its inside-a-building style) is gorgeous at first its randomly generated for each level, and the PSP doesn't seem to have an imagination. You see the same stuff alot, and it gets annoying after a while. The enemys aren't all that different either, so same problem.

The verdict? Good if you don't play it very much.
