The Coby TFTV-505 as a digital camera LCD monitor

My specific use for this portable TV is as an external LCD monitor for my Olympus DSLR for studio work (mostly reproductions of original artwork). The camera offers a live preview with its LiveView function. TV and camera have the same 4/3 aspect ratio. Hooked up to the camera and kept away from direct studio lighting, this TV does a fine job for checking composition and camera settings. It has sufficient brightness and contrast; the screen is large enough; the design is compact and light; in addition to its AC adapter, the unit can be used on location with its own battery pack; and the price is more than honest. I have been using it for 3 months and am satisfied with its performance.
