Coby TF-DVD7107 7 in. Portable DVD Player

Great unit It played NTSC and PAL DVDs without any complicated programing or switching. Battery staying power good, color, volume, all good. Displayed digital JPEG pictures very well. Worked great, plugged into the TV, sharing photos. Instructions not clear enough for an old klutz, but unit is not that complicated and trial and error works well.

Would I buy it again? Yep, already did./70LEW

Wow i reallly enjoy watching movies or simply listening to some fine music with my Cobe portable dvd, plus i can take my son everywhere and keep him occupied, lol.

it has all the features I'd expect, plus a few, although it's not quite as responsive as I'd like. Nice and versatile; my first few days with it have been pleasant.

I love this package! It came complete with case charger headphones external speakers! All for a great price. The dvd player it self works fantastic. My daughter uses it and she is only 5 years old. It is easy to operate. She takes it out and connects it puts the dvd she wants to see when she's done she stores it back. This was the best deal I have got so far from ebay If I were to encounter another deal like this I would jump on it! I also decided to buy it because what was offered and the price was exceptional

The Dvd player is OK. The Dvd Player stop after a while and it pauses, just like the seller stated when i purchased it. But the seller ship item quick.

I like the DVD player the processing was fast with the service provided thanks a lot,i tought the screen was going to be bigger thatn it is but that's ok i'm happy with it.

I wanted to have a portable dvd player to travel with out of town and to have handy on the go. I have no dislikes about this product i find that the dvd is sensative and sometimes want pick up every dvd i have. But overall i am happy with this sale. The buyer had everything listed and was upfront of what to expect as far as it came with power cord and had a few minor scratches. Who ever had this before took care of it as they said. I have no complaints and would order from this person again if i can locate the seller again.

When I received the Coby TF-DVD 107 Portable DVD Player there was sound, but no picture. I will never buy an item on ebay again.

I bought my Coby TF-DVD 107 Portable player new and Never had any problems with it. I've taken it and watched movies on Airplanes in Airports and in hotels rooms. Listen to CD music and just fully enjoyed it. Selling it now because i have a Brand new Vaio Laptop and don't have the need for it anymore. I watch movies and listen to my stuff on my laptop now. I recommend this DVD portable player to all. Its worth the litte money you will spend to use it.

I like this dvd portable so much. Charges fast and I can see a full movie once a time. It comes with the car charger and remote control. I decide to buy it because it was inexpensive and has great shape and condition.

I've seen other reports where reviewers dislike this device, with good reason! I got several of these over past year, and 2 died (sent back to COBY)One review claims after you send it back to COBY, you never see it again; I'll see. First Player worked okay few months, then with increasing frequency, some problems: picture would disintegrate into mass of random colored pixels, or Freeze, or Stop (same as if you hit stop button) and you'd be at screen saver. Some discs problems occurred in same spot (couldn't make it through Davinci Code, Aviator or Easy Rider) I was beginning to think the DVDs copy protection was causing or Bad DVD? But put SAME DVD in DIFFERENT COBY 7107 and it would play ok! If you tried next day (sometimes) then Player would work! I had to have several COBYs to insure at least one would be working! If one couldn't play disc, I'd stick it in another COBY 7107. Ironically, the next day, the first one MIGHT work again! Strangely, the "good" one died before the intermitant problem one! No matter what kind of Disc you put in, it would say "Wrong Disc" and you could hear motor speeding up, slowing down, speeding up, etc. I ordered more COBY 7107 players to replace dead ones, and for spares, ONLY THIS TIME, BUYING EXTENDED WARRANTY ON EACH ONE! Why keep getting same model? When it works, is nice, actually pretty good, and I'll have all the handy accessories from the dead ones (power supplys, cables, remote, headphones,etc)I can interchange with the new ones! Also, I like it because it DOES NOT have swivel screen, which I don't need and would be just another source of problem/failure. Also, based on other reviews and reports I've seen, MOST or ALL the OTHER portable DVD players & Brands have just as much trouble! On more recently built, newer COBY 7107s I see they have a fancier screensaver, and "V-ZON" imprint on silver cover has INVERTED orientation from earlier built COBYs! I'm hoping the NEW screensaver means they FIXED, IMPROVED, and upgraded internal firmware! --Time will tell!

The DVD player seemed great and worked well for about 3 weeks. Then the screen just went blank with a black slash across it. The ebay seller doesn't take returns so I would advise buyers to beward of that for items like electronics. So I'm now working with COBY to use their 90 day warranty. BUT they have me pay shipping costs to return the item (which is OK), BUT THEY ALSO REQUIRE THAT I SEND THEM $18 with the return to pay for their cost of shipping me a new unit. I've never heard of a name brand company doing that. I'm shipping it off tomorrow and HOPING that I get something for the $18 I'm sending them plus the approx. $12 I'll spend to ship it to them insured. I'm mostly disappointed with the ebay seller who won't even stand behind the product for 30 days.

I purchased this to be a Christmas gift for my grandchild. It worked very well and did exactly what we were hoping it would do. The reviews were very good. And it looked like it would be easy to use and in fact, turned out to be very easy.
