Cobra Speed LD M OS Fairway Wood Golf Club

I already had the Cobra M speed 3 wood which I liked, but wanted to upgrade to the LD after I tried it at a demo day. I find the LD model is easier to hit from the fairway - the loft is 18 degrees which is quite high for a 3 wood and the shape of the head makes it easier to hit out of light rough, A very solid club and unlike the driver makes a nice "ping" sound - I give it 10 out of 10.

This club is easy to hit, with what seems to be a large "sweet spot". The shaft is a Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara, that is a perfect fit for this club. Unfortunately I think Cobra has discontinued using this great lightweight shaft in the fairway woods, anyway it is a great club and I would recommend it to anyone. If you don't think you can hit fairway woods, try one of these.

The Cobra Series are in my opinon one of the best clubs I've ever hit they are a very forgiving club, the LD speed offset series have changed my game greatly. Thank You Cobra for making this club!!!

The club may have been used for fitting, but you couldn't tell it from a new one. Saved $$ and recieved the club within days. Highly recommended!

I have the driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, and 7 wood with the regular shaft and hit them equally as well. I wanted to 9 wood so I purchased the senior 7 wood, which has 3* more loft than the regular 7 wood and plays like a 9. I hit that club so well that I think maybe the senior shaft is the one for me, even though I'm not a senior. I then bought a senior driver that I'm playing with the first time tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll say goodbye to my slice off the tee with the senior driver since even though these clubs are offset, they aren't necessarily the cure for a slice caused by a poor swing.

Pros: Easy to address the ball with, and with about an 80% consistency draws my ball to almost center-line(for a right hander) for which I aim. The club is very light helping with club-head speed, and I can pick the ball off the fairway turf or light rough with good confidnce.

Cons: Fairly expensive club for a double-boggy hacker like myself.

Conclusion: Excellent game improving qualities if you have a persistent slice.

The owner graciously has allowed me to return the item and reimburse my pap pal charges as well as return shipping. I will need to do a little more study about the physics of golf clubs, so that I understand al the angles,etc. before I attempt to purchase again.

This club is a sweetheart. The slight offset helped me solve a problem I was having making solid ball contact. The club just feels and looks right and the results let me know it is right for me. I have found nothing wrong with this club to this point and look forward to pulling it out of my bag anytime I need 5 wood distance.

As a senior, I was having difficulty keeping the ball from leaking to the right (I'm right handed), particularly late in a round when I tired. I do not have any problem hitting the ball straight with this club. All my woods are now Cobra LD M OS (driver, 3, 5, 7). I had never played an off-set club until I got these Cobras. In addition to the off-set, the face is closed a few degrees... that combination keeps the ball straight. I would recommend this club to anyone, particularly anyone who can't work out a slice/cut/leak out from their game. The club I got on eBay was listed as used but looked brand new.

I just really like the line of clubs that Cobra has been putting out, very good quality and easy to hit, top end without the price tag of other high end clubs.

I'm 71 yrs old w/a bad back. I'm having trouble getting thru the ball on my swing. These clubs have helped me eliminate my push/slice & to again hit the fairways. I'm 15 yds longer & down the middle with these clubs. I still play to & carry a 7 handicap.
The Cobra offsets will help anyone that has a slower swing speed & is looking for accuracy without sacrificing distance.

The club was in very good condition as advertised. Needed a 5-wood so this came in handy. Always like Cobra clubs. Would have been nice to receive a headcover. Where do the matching headcovers go???

The club was listed at a reasonable price, especially considering there were some scratches that were noted in the listing description.

I have to write a quick review for this 7 wood. As a new golfer, I found that I just could not get the distance or loft on my ball. I tried a variety of balls, all the way to 50 compression, but still I just couldn't get my ball where I wanted it. I really didn't expect much when I bought this club, but am I ever glad that I did buy it. I am sending the ball all the way from tee to green. I'm able to get it into the air and it is so dead on. It puts that ball right where I'm aiming. I'm in shock. I thought it would take forever to get to par. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is the easiest club I have ever tried.

I bought, driver, 3, 5 ,7 and 9 wood, all are excellent, really help to improve your game and are one the most forgiving woods, one thing confussing the numbers on headcovers, it will help numbers more visible.

Draw bias helps reduce slice, but club still has to be hit properly.
Hit it too properly and a nice straight shot can turn into a duck hook.
Grip is a bit small for someone who wears a large glove.
M speed shaft seems a bit whippy even with slow/med swing speed.
