Cobra Speed LD F 2008 Driver Golf Club

I actually bought this club because I really like it's looks. I was playing a
Taylor Made R7 460 with a Fujikura 26.3 shaft and hit it well. I regripped this club to get the right grip size and it is everything the Taylor Made was as far as length, it is a little harder to get the ball to cut with this driver as the face is closed 1 degree. I was able to get it for $90 including shipping, so I did not mind taking a chance on this club. I am glad I did as the good looks instill confidence when I pull this out of the bag, and the slightly closed face makes me concentrate more on my swing mechanics. This club is long and when I catch this one on the sweet spot it is very long. Cobra's reputation as an inexpensive and long club is well deserved, and I was also able to pick up a set of 2008 S9 irons in graphite for $300 on ebay. That is how much I now like Cobra.

Club feels comfortable and the large sweet spot helps distance on less the perferct contact. Don't need to crush the ball to get a decent drive. Friend has one and was able to improve drive accury and distance.

Fairly new to the sport..good solid hit. Hooks a little but that is my fault not the club. Cobra is a top of the line company and i look forward to buying more of their products.

REALLY NICE CLUB, BUT FEEL I NEED A CLUB WITH A TIP STIFF FLEX, INSTEAD OF A MID-KICK FLEX. WISH I WOULD OF KNOW THAT BEFORE I BOUGHT, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU TEST THEM!!! I FIGURED THIS WOULD BE A POTENT COMBO WITH MY COBRA SPEED LD 3 WOOD. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE DISTANCE THESE PROVIDE AND WHAT COBRA HAS COME TO BE KNOWN FOR. ENJOY!!!!

A great driver and i like the fact that the club head is a little heavier which gives me more power at impact!!!

The performance is pretty good!! But i wasnt very consistent!! I hit about 10 golf balls at a local austads and out of that 10 i hit about 4 of them fantastic!! The other 6 i ethier sliced or hooked it! It looks cool too! The head is a little too big for me though!

This driver had the shaft( Aldila NV-F speed tuned Stiff ) that I was looking for on a Cobra Speed LD 10.5% head. I am very pleased with my purchase even if I did pay a little more than I had planned on bidding, but to get what I wanted, it was worth it !!!!!

The Cobra driver has been lightly used and the price I paid for the club is an outstanding value. I have been in many golf shops and no one came close to the price I paid on Ebay for a club in similar condition.

A very good deal for a very small money.I am very happy with the things that I see in ebay!.I also recomend to my friends to do the same buy EBAY!!

I was using my dads stock dunlop driver and I was hitting it ok....but my cousin told me to check out this Cobra Speed LD F Driver.
So I went down to Golfsmith to check it out and hit it at their indoor driving range. It felt really nice and I was connecting but I really couldn't tell if I was hitting it straight or slicing it. So I bought it on Ebay...great deal too!
When I received it I was excited to try it but was not able to until that friday..
Friday came and I headed to my local driving range....Whooosh!!!! I whiffed it...calm down I said to myself your too excited. Ok Second swing.....PLANG!!!
I connected dead center, ball flew straight and two bounced to the net..the farthest marker said 250 and the net was beyond that...you do the math..
I love the sound, oversized head and feel of the club...Great Club for beginners!

The driver has performed as advertised. I am extremely pleased with the purchase and will shop again on e-bay for golf clubs!

I have a set of cobra irons and wanted the driver to go with them. This driver is better than the first one I purchased. this driver is great and I have personally had drives over 300 yards !! This is a great club and at a fraction of the cost of a new one.

really love this driver. no driver is better than this in distance and
accuracy. easy to hit sound is little bit noisy but acceptable.

if someone looking for best driver i strongly recomand this one.

I love the way the driver sounds when you hit it. It is such a great feeling when you tee off at a hole and hit the ball and everyone looks at what just happened. Nothing is better to me than that it is just so great.
