radar works great so far. give really acurate readings when cops are near, of course there are some false alerts but it does pretty well at disregarding em' i am really happy with this product.

Cobra XRS works better than higher priced detectorsReview created: 09/06/09

After buying a higher priced detector, and having it quit after less than a year, I bought a Cobra on E-Bay. The item was sold at a good price, it got to me in less than a week, and works as well,if not better than, the Brand-X that had quit on me.
It warns me if any emergency traffic is comming my way, if there is any road construction ahead, or if the local POLICE are out after a bit more $$$$$$
I recomend this product.

Good and Fairly Reliable Radar DetectorReview created: 06/18/09

Even though the owner's manuel is pretty confusing to read at first, I finally understand the basic functions of the Cobra XR 9430. I wish the plug-in cord is longer, since my car plug-in is near the floor of the car. Other than that, it's a fairly reliable radar detector, esp. the price, which is one of the main reasons why I bought it in the first place, along with good value.

highway/citybought this because I had gotten a speeding ticket and couldn't afford another one!! I like how you can choose from long/highway or short/city makes sense. Also it looks cool on your dash

This Radar detector works well. So well that it even will pick up a radio tower as you drive by( which startles ya a bit).
Overall the item works well it even has an intellimute button which mutes the radar after a certain rpm gain, which I would guess is good if you know your speeding and you don not want some stupid radar telling you that you just got caught? lol j/k But on a serious note the radar is a cheap radar to buy, and its overall performace I would give it a B+. It's not some top of the line radar that will tell ya that you got 2 miles to slow down, but it will give you that few second warning that you need to be able to slow down to avoid the cop's ticket gun.
