Cobra Baffler DWS Fairway Wood Golf Club

The Cobra Rescue/Hybrid is the best invention since Sarazen's Wedge; easy to hit accuratly and straight, really help players who in the old days could not hit the long irons.

I was reluctant to get a hybrid because I felt is was surrendering to my age somewhat. However, the addition of these two clubs - I now have a 4 and a 5 - have been a boost to my game. I am able to get 10-15 yards more carry with the hybrids which makes up for some of the driving distance I have lost over the past few years. They are also very easy to hit. They are actually easier to strike consistently than mid/low irons and have a better trajectory. Finally, I tend to have a slight draw with these that was elusive with conventional irons.

For a long time duffer with high expectations the baffler enables the old fellow to dump the long irons and smack a straight one on to the 185 yard green.

Very happy with this club. Simple look at address. Good distance and forgiving both off the tee and from the fairway. High trajectory - ball jumps off the face and then flattens out for good carry. Solid feel from rough, tungsten weights helped club get through the grass. I'm not a big fan of Aldila but the shaft (Aldila NV-HL 65 stiff) felt good. If you're not a single-digit handicap(and maybe even if you are), this is an upgrade over your 4-iron.

At a charity golf scramble, our foursome faced a 202-yard par 3 over water. It was the "closest-to-the-pin" hole. Lacking the right club, I borrowed one of the other fellow's Cobra Baffler hybrid DWS. I had tried one hitting into a net at a golf store and it felt pretty good, but I hadn't decided whether to buy. Well, I gripped that club, took one practice swing, and *boom* closest to the pin! I walked off with the prize for that hole, thanks to the Baffler. Perfect ball flight, perfect distance, perfect club. I bought it from him on the spot.

Easy to hit and gets the ball airborne with little effort. Flys a little higher than my 5 wood and seems to float to a nice landing. Just a little more confidence in hitting from less than perfect lies. Enjoying it so far.

Fantastic price for 2 NEW clubs. I shopped 3 golf stores, Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy, and Martin's Golf Superstore in Myrtle Beach and their price/cost was for 1 club what I paid for both clubs. My opinion, Cobra makes a great club when it comes to these hybred fairway woods!

This hybrid sets up nicely and is incredibly easy to hit draws, fades or straight high and soft landing shots. I have the VS Proto shaft in my driver and the 65g HL VS Proto in the Baffler is a great shaft and makes a nice combination with this clubhead. I am looking in to add a 23* Baffler soon and hopefully it will be as solid as my 20*.

This club is very easy to shape. It gets the ball up in the air very effortless. Sweet club, can't believe I waited this long to add it to my arsenal.

I am an 8.0 handicap index and the Cobra Baffler is a great addition to my long approach game. High launch, workability and feel are great from 200+yds out. I have two sets of clubs (one at home and one for travel) and I have made sure that I have a 20 and 23 degree club in each. Great setup inspires confidence even on 20 degree model. I highly recommend this club for the beginner or advanced player. You will not be disappointed.

I've tried the Adams, Callaway, & Ping hybrids and found the Cobra DWS to be easier hit than all of the rest!

This club is one of the easyest to hit and right down the middle. No need of a 3 or 4 iron in my bag anymore either.
Can't say anything bad about it other than I should have had one before this.

I have the 3&4 Hybreds of this club and I like them alot. I know this will fill the hole in my bag. These clubs are real easy to hit from most any lie.

I have been using Cobra Woods for several years and I am playing my best golf with them. The Cobra Baffler DWS 3 wood has allowed me to quit hitting my 3 & 4 irons. It has definitely improved my scoring. I will probably go to more baffler hybrids and eliminate more irons. I heard other golfers talk so positive about the baffler so I decided to buy one. I am very glad I bought one!!

Bought the 4R 23* hybrid to replace my 3 and 4 iron. This club gets up off any surface with ease and with awesome power. I loved it so much I also got the 6R. Great looking green Aldila shaft, very attractive club.

It is one of the easiest clubs to hit ever. These hybrid clubs are great out of the rough, the fairway, or even chipping around the green. Perfect for the long par fours that you couldn't reach with a conventional iron.
