15 episodes (1936) Craig Kennedy is the detective who is after "The Clutching Hand" who has stolen the formula for making synthetic gold. The title is from the opening episode where all you can see is an unknown hand reaching out to shut off the lights. The film quality is poor occasionally, often enough to be distracting. There are lots of fights and car chases, but that is about all it has. The plot is thin and the acting not very good.
I am not sure just who could enjoy this serial, but I certainly didn't.
