) There have been many shows that get progressively worse as the seasons progress. Friends as a sitcom is one example and West Wing as a drama.
This show has been quite the opposite. Watching the show on DVD where my wife and I watch an episode each evening, we can actually watch as the characters seem to work better with each other and really get more comfortable acting together.
I love this show and highly recommend it.

The CloserEasiest way to find and buy movies! Saves Time, Money and Stress! I love the DVD's I have bought on E-Bay and so does my little 8 year old Great Granddaughter! I pick her up at school every Wed. afternoon and she comes in and puts on one of the Closer DVD's and we watch it until her parents come for her. We now have Three full Seasons of The Closer and love them over and over. Every one of the actors in Kyra S. LAPD group are so good one can get lost in it and begin to almost think this is real! We get right into the middle of the group and laugh and cry with whatever situation is happening at the time! I am 75 and Aaliyah is 8 years old and as far as the Closer is concerned, no one could tell any difference in our ages if they could only see our reaction to this great action packed DVD Series! We are both looking forward to the next Season!

One of the best shows on t.v.!!!! If I was able to get that channel, I would be estatic!!!! If anyone likes a police drama's this would be their favorite too!!!! I'm going to own every episode!!!!

Best Season of all so farThe best season of the Closer so far. Best writing best acting. About the DVD I don't know why the authoring company didn't include subtitles in spanish in this season it have it in any language you can imaging even mandarin but no in spanish despite that the the previous seasons have subtitles in spanish

This DVD of the third season of "The Closer" is as excellent as the previous ones. The characters are believable and both funny and touching to watch. The lead character played by Kyra Sedgewick is wonderful! There is always a good mystery in each episode and there is never anything dull about this series. Good tv!!

I own season's 1,2 and 3. I enjoy watching all three of them. This season they make a point to get rid of that awful lipstick she wore. Crime situations are still very interesting and the writers continue to weave personal situations of the main characters into the story line. The last disc leaves me wanting to view more.

There are so many "The Closer" fans out there that the number approaches that of a google. Most of us came to this program because we were first big fans of Kyra Sedgwick. The writing and the other members of the cast are super and in all ways loyal to their fans! The past two seasons have been great...we all just can't wait for the next episode. We watch the reruns religiously. TNT has a classic hit on their hands. Thank you very much!
Having all the episodes on DVD is like having a box of chocolates that is forever filled. We can watch our beloved sleuth and company again and again. It is fun to follow little details through the time of this series.
All of the cast are works in progress, as is Brenda Leigh Johnson.
This is a great "must have" product.
