As someone that has read over 50 Star Wars books, I would say that this is probably my least favorite. If you like all of the political scenes in Episode 1, then you will enjoy this. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people. To me, the book was very slow and a little hard to follow. One of the things I did like, However, was the amount of jedi characters that were in this book. I can usually get through a book in a couple of days, but this one took me over a month, just because I wasn't ever really excited about reading it. So, if you like politics in Star Wars, then this book is for you. But if not, you might want to pass.

This was a great book. It help builds the story up to episode 1. I love James Lucenos star wars books. Lucenos books would have made great movies.

) I bought the book for my stepson who is a Starwars fanatic, he had the hardest time finding this book, so it was a nice surprise to find it here on ebay.
Its exactly what he was looking for and it arrived in excellent condition.He's reading it now and really likes the story, it goes right along with the others in the series.
