Beginners - great driver
Review created: 08/29/07(updated 02/06/08)
I struggled with consistent fades/slices from my old driver, despite hitting every other club well. About 4 years ago, I took the driver out of my bag completely and reluctantly teed-off with my 3-wood on every driving hole, but at least I could count on a ball in the fairway.
(Beginner note - as soon as you lose the ego and realize that 200 yds in the fairway is far better than 250-275 yds in the trees, you'll drop at least 10 strokes from your handicap).
My first outing with the Cleveland OS 410 really made my jaw drop. I am hitting it straight 250-275 yds now. Very light club to swing despite its large appearance. You'll probably outgrow the off-set in a few years or so, but this driver is a quick fix to the constant driver slice (or at least it was for me). Very cost effective, and will give you the feedback you need to improve.
