Cleveland Launcher 2009 Fairway Wood Golf Club

Great feeling club....ball jumps off face. Very solid contact makes it easy to get ball into air quickly, resulting in longer distance & purer ball flight. Would definitely buy this club again, & if I decide to purchase more fairway woods, they'll be the Cleveland Launcher type.

I fell in love with this club after my very first shot with it. The ball "jumped off the club face". It is long and straight. I love the very large hitting area. It is difficult to mishit this club left or right. I am a "straight ball" hitter with very little draw or fade and this club really delivers that for me. When I have to I can also work the ball a little despite its forgiveness.
The Fujikura Fit-On M Red Shaft with Stiff Flex is ideal for my approximately 95 swing speed.
I was able to find this club in excellent condition on eBay for a reasonable price after reading Golf Digest's description of the club and its performance.
The club is good off the ground and also ideal off the tee on those dauntingly narrow par fours.
Although I had been using another 3 Wood for years the Cleveland 2009 Launcher has found a home in my bag. I am awaiting delivery of the 2009 Launcher Driver and am also searching for a Launcher 5 Wood (only at a good price). Both will have to be outstanding to replace my current TP Driver and 18 degree TWS Hybrid! My Launcher 3 Wood experience has taught me to keep an open mind however.
A rare gem indeed!

This three wood is consistent. The misswings I toed initially, but, it has continued to provide good loft and controllable distance. There are no distractions in this 3 wood model design. All in all, a good three wood to have in the bag. Got lost with the driver for a minute, and this 3 wood kept me scoring.

The club is everything I was expecting. It is the best fairway wood I have owned and I've had many over the years. This is Cleveland Golf's best yet!
