Cleveland Hi-Bore Monster XLS Driver Golf Club

I did understand that the driver was used but I do wish that the dent and deep scrape on the bottom of the unit had been mentioned. I've bought several clubs before, all have looked almost new till now but have a good day any how.

Just got my club and took in to the range. I've only been playing golf for about 2 years and still consider myself a learner, then again aren't we all.

This club is extremely forgiving. I love the fact that you don't have to power hit the ball to get good distance. I nice easy stroke easily cleared 200 yards. A moderate stroke took me past 250 yards. Good accuracy too.

My only dislike is the very loud "ping" you get even with a easy swing. Good God, I think if I don't wear ear-plugs I'll go deaf with this club!! The guy 10 bays down was complaining it was so loud.

the monster is all that i wanted in a driver. goes a long way and easy to control. an improvement over the hibore xls--which is still a great club.

I WON THIS GENTLEMANS AUCTION OVER A MONTH AGO. GOT A REAL GOOD DEAL ON A MONSTER DRIVER. PAID WITH PAYPAL ASKED FOR THE TRACKING NUMBERS ... NO REPLY. SENT ANOTHER REQUEST ANOTHER WEEK LATER STILL NO TRACKING NUMBER!!! I LOOK IN HIS HISTORY OF SALES AND TO MY EYES I SEE HE RELISTED MY DRIVER I WON AND SOLD IT FOR 10.00 MORE THAN I PAID HE FOR... STILL NO MONEY OR DRIVER THIS SUCKS.. GUYS LIKE THIS REALLY GIVES EBAY A BAD REP.

I had the Hibore XL before this (10.5 degree with a blue prolaunch shaft). I had hit the XLS several times and it was longer and more forgiving but I couldn't get over the sound (too loud). My Monster is a 9.5 with the stock red Fuji shaft. It launches the ball on a more penetrating ball flight which is longer and provides some roll which I didn't have before. It is even more forgiving than the XLS and luckily they have muted the sound from earsplitting to just reasonably loud. I have really enjoyed this driver as a whole, and the Hibore series has been great with a solid swinging driver and the latest version is the best of the bunch.

Tried out a demo club at a golf pro shop. New club quite expensive, but felt very good to me. Bought mine almost new, excellent condition. Normally shoot 48-52. Had a 43 after hitting it a few times. Love this club...
