Cleveland Hi-Bore Iron set Golf Club

These are the greatest clubs I've ever hit. I'm a 12 handicap and with these by the end of summer I'd hope to be around a 10. I had the original Nike Slingshot irons before this set. I hit these about 12-15 yards longer. They get up in a hurry. I'm hitting the 3 and 4 irons. The last time I hit a 3 or 4 iron was about 20 years ago. Most of the time when you get new clubs the distance and trajectory don't really change. With the Hi-Bore they really do change.
If you try these irons I think you will love them.

I bought the Cleveland Hi-bore irons 3-pw about 3 weeks ago. These clubs are far and away the best irons I have ever played. At this point I have taken them to the range and played 2 rounds with these irons. I am hitting the ball crisp, long and straight. Fianly not only do I love being out one the course with the guys but for the first time I really enjoy playing the game. I owe it all to two things. I have been hitting a set of Callaway knockoffs for 10 years and did not think that the clubs were that bad. I tried out a set of the Cleveland HiBores and bought them pretty much on the spot. They have a very balanced feel and they seem to be a very foregiving club. More distance is a given with these clubs, as I hit mine 15-20 yards further than my previous clubs. It took some getting used to and they messed up my short game until I started dropping back a club on approach shots. The 3 is probably the best hitting long iron I have ever hit. Consistently hit this club 215-225. It makes me leave the driver in the bag on shorter courses. I have played about 7 rounds with them so far and I am definitely looking forward to a week at Myrtle Beach at the end of the month.

If your thinking about buying these clubs, stop thinking and just buy them. It will make your golf game so enjoyable. I love these clubs, it is the most effortless swing I have ever made. I shot in the low 90s before I got these, I now shoot 85 consistently.Besides the score I just love hitting these clubs. THe wedge is amazing. Cant say enough.

I moved from a mix and match set of irons (7 through lob wedge), a 5 hybrid, and driver through 7 wood. I can't hit a long iron at all. With the Hi-Bore irons, my game has changed. Hitting the 5 iron is just like hitting the 8 iron... it just goes farther.

Like all of the reviews say, these clubs are certainly easy to hit. The ball wants to go straight and off center shots still carry good distances Perhaps this will cause me to be a "less precise" golfer, but I can live with that. I'm not trying to make a career out of golf, I just want to enjoy playing. My set now includes a driver, my Hi-Bore irons, a lob wedge and a putter.

Several reviewers have commented that they didn't like the pitching wedge. I can hit the pitching wedge reasonably accurately, but it definitely carries about 15 yards shorter than my previous wedge. That's not a problem for me, it just means I don't need a sand wedge any more.

As for the long irons... these are sweet! I can hit them consistently, accurately, and long. Great set of irons. I'm a mid 80's golfer (score... not age) and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

If you are looking for very forgiving and easy to hit clubs these are the ones to buy. Every club feels the same when you swing them. The pitching wedge is easy to hit as the 5 iron. I'm very happy with my purchase.

the irons were solid at contact but i notice the 9, pw, and gap wedge were a little clumsy around the green

They have a nice, solid feel and are very easy to hit. The ball spins very
well and makes holding greens a cinch. Off center hits still carry well.
The only negative is getting used to the enormous head, but this is a minor detail.

I really like the distance the irons give me, but I've hit them a couple of times and they seem to not be very accurate. I have only hit them a few times considering it is winter where I live and my local course is closed. I am a 18 handicaper and am normally pretty accurate. Althought I do like the distance on the 3i and it is pretty accurate, so I plan on buying the fairway woods too. overall I give them an A-.

Great Irons for the High Handicap golfer. Very forgiving. Swing speed is great and the feel is good. Rated excellent in Golf Digest.

These clubs are easy to hit and have given back my lost yardage. Expecially love the long irons. The balls seem to float into the green. The wedges take some extra time to get used to.

Easy to hit. I have gotten back a club in length from my Cobra II clubs. Takes a while to get used to the different look but it's well worth it.

These hybrid clubs are so easy to hit your #4 could become a favorite. Even a beginner can go right to the course.

I have used these irons since Christmas, and I love them. The oversize head lets me hit the sweetspot more and more distance. I am female and petite so this gives me a better chance at a better score. Just think if I was stronger what I could do with them. I can't wait till spring to really see how they will do. I love them!!!!!

I play these clubs like I play golf everyday. I play a few times a year. I have for the last 14 years. I honestly have played only 7 times in the last 6 years. I joined a league this year and needed new clubs because I was shooting 23 over on 9 holes. Yes, I said was not a very good player. I bought these clubs and that week I instantly shot 8 over! This Item was purchased for my wife as a christmas present. Clubs arrived promptly, well packaged and condition as stated in the ad. I owm the equivalent set in men's and like them very well. They are easy to hit and if struck reasonable the provide for a high and long flight. Easiest "irons" I have ever played with.

These irons give good,repeatable,solid contact,thus taking much of the sense of uncertainty out of the swing.They give very little feedback,and are thus,in my opinion, better suited to the 85+ shooter rather than the serious player.
The hybrid irons are eminently hittable and the seamless flow from longer to shorter clubs is much welcomed by this average player.

There isn't a bad thing that can be said about these clubs. You will hit farther, straighter, and higher than you have ever done before. This club set says that it comes with 3-PW, but fails to mention that it comes with an extra club, Confidence. These clubs will improve your game immediately and help take you to the next level. HiBore irons will shave strokes off you game the first time out. These clubs are the only sure way to add extra inches to a certain part of your anatomy. If you are looking for a new set of clubs or are just starting out these are the ones you need.

I have found the hybrid irons much easier to hit than regular irons because of their large sweet spots and peripheral weight. Some people have found that they are not as good if not hitting with a full swing but I have not found it that way. I am happy with the purchase and will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a set of moderately priced hybrid clubs.
