Halo is Heavenly!

The Cleveland Halo line are the BEST hybrids I've hit in the past two years with no exeeption. I've played most of the line (2i to 5i), as well as the comparable hybrids from Nike, Callaway, and Adams. The Cleveland Halo has a bigger sweet spot, comes with a nicer stock shaft (Cleveland and Fujikara have a GREAT partnership going), a wonderful tour-velvet grip, and a feel that is unlike any other hybrid I've hit. When you make good contact, the mass of the head and the size of the sweet spot make the ball feel like a soft "click." On mishits, you feel the weight of the ball a bit more, but the face is very forgiving and even mishits can turn out not-so-bad.
Have you tried pitching with a hybrid? The head size helps the club glide and not bite into ground or grass. Try it! Pitch with the 3i or 4i from long grass around the green. Don't stab...focus on keeping a smooth, fluid chipping motion and let the loft of the club pop the ball up into the air.
The ONLY club I'll use out of fairway bunkers now is my 3i. Again, the head shape doesn't BITE in the sand like an iron can. Hit ball first, and you'll be AMAZED how well these things hit out of fairway sand. I also use my 2i or 3i to punch out from under trees or to hit a 50 foot "putt" from the short approach grass onto the green.
I have replaced my 3-6 irons with four hybrids. I'm playing better golf, hitting more fairways and staying there, and hitting ALOT more greens in regulation. Visit your local golf shop (the one with the indoor pratice cell) and hit Cleveland Halo, Nike and Callaway hybrids. Hit the entire range of clubs about six or seven times each. Then see for yourself which you like best. My bet...you'll like the Halo best!
