Many of us not only remember the 1980's, we lived it! It was the age of indulgence...big hair, ruffled shirts, MTV and incredible music! The members of Clear Static were mere infants in the 1980's, but they have found a way to take you back to that time and do it even better than you remember.

I had the pleasure of seeing Clear Static perform in 2005 at the House Of Blues in LA. They were mesmorizing! I found myself up, out of my chair and dancing around like a teenager. The moment their debut, self-titled CD was released, I ran out and purchased it.

Clear Static's music is definitely reminiscant of the 1980's but with an erotic beat and newer sound that makes you want to move. "Make-Up Sex" is the sexiest club song out there, while "Tuesday On My Mind" will stick in your head and have you singing it all day long. "Hiding Out" ("Out Of Control") is one of those songs that will remain your favorite and "New Years 1984" will have you rolling down the car windows and singing like no one is watching.

With a mix of sounds like Duran Duran, The Cure and Depeche Mode with a large pinch of their own thing, Clear Static will be the next big thing in pop! I can't get enough of this CD!! Love it!
