Clay Aiken - A Clay Aiken Christmas (DVD, 2004)

Even though I have never seen one episode of American Idol, Clay Aiken has become a fixture in my life. (I saw him in concert and was converted.) Now, after only four short years, he has become a new Christmas tradition. His Joyful Noise tour sells out in every city bringing his remarkable voice and style to holiday songs, both contemporary and tradtional.

This DVD showcases his talent along with friends Barry Manilow and Megan Mullally. There's an interesting twist to the show where the viewer is invited to watch behind-the-scenes action. I love watching this DVD because it gets me in the Christmas spirit and ready for the holidays. I bought this DVD after seeing the special on TV and I've purchased many copies as Christmas presents. They have all been well-received.

I was very impressed on the delivery time. I received the item earlier than I expected even if it was only a "standard shipping". Although I bought a used DVD (A Clay Aiken Christmas 2004 DVD), the item was perfect (like new) and the price was just right for my budget.

I wanted this DVD because I heard the song, "Mary Did You Know" and liked the version by Clay Aiken. Also on the DVD are songs by Barry Manilow and Yolanda Adams, and I also like them. This DVD is no longer produced.

I like the DVD because it is a great DVD, I bought it because I love Barry Manilow and he was great and Clay was lucky to have Barry on his Christmas Special. Clay also put on a great show especially since it was his first show. The DVD was very clear and was in excellent condition. The show was great.

The DVD played fine - I was just disappointed that the recording of Clay's holiday special did not include the fantastic performance by Megan Mullally of "I'll Be Home for Christmas". That was the sole reason I purchased the DVD. I just assumed she would be on it, since she appeared in the television broadcast of his special.
