Album Notes
CLASSICAL MUSIC FOR A STRESS-FREE WORLD features works and performances by various artists compiled by John Tesh.
With this classical compilation, New Age superstar John Tesh presents a set of stress-relieving yet awe-inspiring performances. Tesh assembled sweet, somnolent piano pieces by Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Schumann, Debussy, Mozart, Shubert, Saint-Seans, Faure, and Strauss played by various musicians who are keyed in to having the listener let go of stress and relax. Most of the album features tender melodies that yearn for the simple joys of youth (as in Schumann's "Kinderszenen" or "Scenes from Childhood"), but even pieces with robust moments ultimately dissolve into contended, peaceful reflection, as in Anthony Paratore's performance of Strauss' Waltz from "Der Rosenkavalier."
