Where Rock Lives

Growing up in Central NJ around the 1970's, I started listening to WNEW-FM (102.7) around 1969. Having two older brothers pushed me toward the Progressive Rock format and away from the Top Hits AM Stations that dominated the British Invasion of the 60's. Aside from the great music being played, there were the on-air personalities who were allowed to play whatever they felt like, and was one of the few, true, free format stations.
This 4-CD Box Set is a well rounded sample of the typical song types you would hear from the mid-70's through the mid-90's. I would be very surprised to hear that there is not at least one of your favorite songs, or performers somewhere on this box set, especially if you are hear reading the reviews.
One more note, the box itself is made to look like some of the very early portable CD players, and the complete box set includes a 12-page, fold-out insert.
