Classic Plastic Radios of the 1930s and 1940s by John Sideli (1990, Paperback, Illustrated)

I purchased this book about 10 years ago because of my interest in the collection and preservation of early radios. I have many early radio references and this book is one of the most stylish and infomative. In the 227 pages and 223 excelent color plates it provides outstanding technical and design information for many models. A necessary reference for anyone specifficaly interested in these classic early radios or those simply interested in the generic catalin art form. The full color cover and plates are so well done that it is an eye catching book for the living room coffee table.
Originally printed in 1990 by John Sideli. Now out of print this book in both soft cover and hard cover formats is occasionally listed on eBay. My well annotated copy has a "Half Price Books" price tag of $3.98. Expect to pay about 20 times that for a soft cover version today and much more for a hard back copy.
