This book was very erotic, but in a strange, S&M-ish way. If you have ever dreamed of dominating or being dominated, you might want to read this one.

If you are an Ann Rice Fan or want to read something fantasy unlike anything you hae read before...........this is definetly a fairtale story for adults.

I bought this book because I've heard good things about it for years. Once I received it I read through it in two days as I got hooked quickly into the story. I liked it well enough to purchase the other two and they will be arriving shortly.

Quoting similar to other reviewers, this book is for adults only and would be interesting to someone in the BDSM lifestyle or someone who is curious about the lifestyle. This book would provide much insight as to how a Dominate/Top would cleverly torture, tease, and tantalize a slave/sub. There is also great insight to the struggle of how a slave/sub would have to give up and submit their body, mind, and soul to please their owner.

The beginning of the book is somewhat similar to the original sleeping beauty…somewhat.

A beautiful princess, age 15, has fallen into a deep sleep from being pricked on her finger. Her entire kingdom fell into a silent slumber for 100 years due to the curse that befell Beauty.

A brave young Price, age 18, fights his way through the thorns to find the telltale princess sleeping Beauty that he has heard of his entire life. The Prince is so proud of himself and so enamored with her youthful appearance that he awakes her with…a kiss?

Great book for the adult woman Full of Exotica and keeps your interest no matter where you read. It is a must have for any female adult. Have the first volume but will give it to a great friend. It is a book you can read over and over. But be sure it is out of reach of Children. Highly recommend to any adult.

If you are into BDSM these books are a must!Even if you aren't.. The insight they provide is relevant to the life of a submissive in the lifestyle. The book was frothy, full of sexual exploits and tales of punishment. Unlike most books in this genre, it was actually well written with a tale that leads through 3 books. The book is less about sex and more about punishment, discipline and the rewards of good behavior.

A friend lent me her book. It is such a great book / trilogy that I went out and bought my own copies! I highly recommend this / these books if you like erotica!

A wonderful story. Don't miss out on any of Anne Rice's wonderful novels. This story is full of suspense, imagination and great story-telling.

What starts out an intruiging story later becomes a plotless story filled with strange fantasy. Brutally abused, all the main characters seem too much alike and their emotions seem unrealistic, which bothered me alot. It's worth a read, but after reading, you may not want to finish the series.

I finished this book in less than a week. It does seem to go by quickly but it is also repetitive in many aspects. Rice's view of torture are all the same. I liked the book but it can get boring if you're not one for relentless torture. I would've liked to see more of the Prince and Beauty's relationship but oh well. I may buy the next book.

Very good book great work by anne rice but be prepared you have to read the whole series and the first book is very erotic!

The author is great. The writting is superb. The erotica is amazing. What else do you want to know? Read it and get aroused in a tasteful way.
