The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice (1999, Paperback, Reprint)

This is a very original book. Unlike any other- even those by Anne Rice. The story is set hundreds of years ago in a far away fantasy land where royal peoples undergo a period of sexual "slavery" before rising to power. Beauty, the heroine, finds herself awoken (in many ways) and taken away by a mysterious stranger to begin her "education." We follow Beauty as she learns the ways of a slave, and develops some very **interesting** relationships with her fellow slaves and master(s).
A must read if you love Erotic Fiction. As always, Anne Rice's elegant voice presents this story in beautifully.

This is an erotica set written by Anne Rice and I have owned this set before so I have already read it. If anyone likes to read erotica..this a must have set!!!!Once you start reading it-you won't want to put it down. It is the type of book that is read more than once!

I love the eroticism presented so tastefully. Definitely a new twist on an old tale. Bought the trilogy so I could re-read it time and again for a bedtime story.

I loved this book! Couldn't put it down! Filled with sexual adventure, intrigue, and good old fashioned "saucy-ness", it is a great read that will tickle your....you know... I purchased a copy for my sister (we have the same taste in romance stories), and she loves it too. This book has just about everything: spanking, light s+m, bondage, steamy affairs....it's like going to school to learn how to pleasure your partner! Cause that's what it's all about!!

A friend told me I should get this trilogy. I read the first books 85 pages or so and didn't like anything about it. I really dislike men that treat women like slaves, especially when in addition worse than a sewer rat. Just wasn't my kind of thing.

As always Ann Rice writes a story that pulls you in and is a great page turner. I had a hard time putting it down, just wanted to read it straight through.
