Cirque du Soleil - Saltimbanco (DVD, 2001)

I love cirque du Soleil, but this is one I could have missed. It's not nearly as impressive as the other Cirque du Soleil videos. Yes, there were some high points - the two strong men in green trousers, and when the audience member was playing cowboy with one of the performers... but overall it was rather drab.

OMG ! i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE all the cirques ! the talent just amazes me - i never knew the body could so so much !!!!!! i watch over and over and over, never tire of it. i have seen only 3 touring shows, "O" in vegas - which was when i fell in love with cirque - and will see more shows as soon as they come within a 500 mile radius of my home ! AND - i will definitely be in vegas in 2009 - they will be opening their new show ELVIS !!!!! i know i'll be in heaven then !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saltimbanco is the second Cirque du Soleil DVD I own. It has amazing acrobatics, non-stopping show. Still I prefer La Nouba, i think the amazing soundtrack of La Nouba gives it the edge, also La Nouba is a resident show with its own theater in Walt Disney World Resort which gives it an advantage over Saltimbanco which is a traveling show. Still Saltimbanco is a great show to see, a classic. I would recommend it.

The Saltimbanco CD offered more entertainment than the live show I watched a month earlier. I would reccoment it to everyone that has or has not seen the live show!!

I loved the performances they were all great. After seeing Kazoo, the performance in San Francisco, I just had to see the other Cirque du Soleil shows. The amazing feats were ourstanding in all of the show that I have seen on DVD video.
