Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba (DVD, 2004, 2-Disc Set)

I am a huge fan of Cirque Du Soleil. I have almost everything they have done on DVD and VHS. In my opinion, this is the best show that the Cirque has done on DVD. I also feel that La Nouba has some of the best music out of all the Cirque shows and the costumes are amazing. I love the four white clowns in this production too. You can't go wrong with this DVD! Everyone in your family will love it!!

I finally saw the Cirque Du Soleil "La Nouba" show at Walt Disney World Resort in February so I was thrilled to see that I could preserve my memories of a very spectacular show in the form of a DVD.

I was more than thrilled to relive the show and my family and I found that this tape not only reinforced our experience but also presented many facial expressions, views and acts that we missed due to concentrating on another part of the show.

I would highly recommend this tape, it is truly a magical performance!

We went to see La Nouba in Orlando and wanted to get the dvd but at Cirque du Soleil they wanted $39. That was just too much so I found it on ebay for $10 huge savings and the dvd has never been opened. I would highly recommend seeing the actual show if your ever in Orlando

I know this is supposed to be about the DVD, and it's an excellent DVD!! BUT.... this seller is pathetic!

I love cirque du soleil. After watching this performance in Disney, I wanted to join cirque.. and my friend bought the video for his girlfriend, and we watched it not long after that, so i decided to get it, and i've already watched it a few times. Great Great Great! the only problem with it is that this video only has 3 of the diablos girls and the live performance had 4, and this was a while ago so my friend isn't in here or interviewed in the special features.

La Nouba is exactly what it's title means, The PARTY! This DVD is complete fun and entertainment coupled with some of the most incredible music written for a circus. The acts are stunning and the musicians are awesome and those singers are extraordinary, the Mezzo Soprano is incredible. The show is also worth every dollar to see it live in Downtown Disney. The DVD does a great job of giving you a taste of how incredible the show is live.

I bought it because my high school marching band is performing this music for our fall competition season. The musical and visual content will provide a wide variety of sources for the creative aspect of our show. It is great!!!

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

Bought this dvd for my son because we've watched it on tv and he lovedit. It is wonderful, the whole family enjoys it. He has watched sooo many times already!

I would recommend it to anyone, I love it, extremely good content of art, just amazing. Will look for the other DVD's of Cirque du Soleil.

My mom and I were at Disney World for Christmas last year.We had gone two years before and we had heard everyone talking about this show La Nouba.Everyone was saying how amazing it was.For my moms birthday I bought the tickets for us to go when we were at Disney World.It was one of the most amazing shows I have ever been to.The only place you can see this show is at Downtown Disney in Orlando Florida.I would tell anyone planning on making a trip to Disney World or that lives in the area and has not seen the show to go see it.It is well worth the money.Even the cheapest seats are the best.If you can not see the show in person the DVD is amazing too.Nothing like really being there but a great memory from going.I have only had the DVD for 2 days now and have shown it to all my friends and they were amazed and they to now what to go see the show.The DVD will keep you on the edge of your seat just like the show will.If you are interested in seeing people fly though the air, little girls doing flips, people suspened in air on the side of a building, and funny clowns then this is for you.My mom lives a ways from me and she is dieing to see the DVD and show all her friends.

I bought this Dvd because of the spectactulor performances these skilled acrobates perform. I have always been fascinated by the shows over the top performances, and I was thilled to the utmost. Kids and adults will be entertained like nothing else. I like all the skits and professionalism of the circus acts I viewed Bravo!

The DVD was perfect! I had seen the show on the BRAVO channel and knew that I wanted to own it for future viewing. I knew there was no way that I could possibly catch all of the events and acts that were happening on the one time television event. As I suspected, being able to watch the show again allowed me the opportunity to catch many of the exciting little things going on in the background from focused performers. La Nouba is amazing! There is absolutely nothing that I disliked about the DVD that I purchased.

We saw La Nouba in Orlando this year (06) and all I can say is - you won't be disappointed! My misses had her doubts about the show prior to seeing it (she said it's not her scene); afterwards she couldn't stop talking about it. Now we're off to see Alegria at the Royal Albert Hall in January.

Highlights of the show - The Diablos, German Wheel and The Chairs; but all the acts are topnotch and there's never a dull moment. No matter where you sit in the auditorium you get a good view of the stage, though some side seats don't have the best view for the Trapeze. Sit in the front row and you might get picked on (like i did) for the bike jump; just go for it!!

If you can't see it live then get the DVD it's the next best thing.

I LOVE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL! Being a dancer myself, I am in awe of all the theatrics and colors and even the live music! I would recommend to anybody of any age!

Our family went to Disney World last April. We attended the La Nouba show and our 4 year old grandson enjoyed every minute of the show. After we returned I went on line to find the dvd. The one I purchased was excellent quality and a fair price. But the best part is my grandson is still enjoying his vacation. With this dvd even if you haven't been there, it's the next best thing. Highly recommended.

One of the best Cirque du Soleil, loved every minute, you won't be sorry that you bought this DVD. It has better footage of the show than you see on TV. The music and sound are exceptional.

La Nouba is the ultimate circus! I saw a clip about it on the Walt Disney World web site and ordered the CD and DVD off ebay. They are both great! There is no place like Walt Disney World and La Nouba upholds that standard of excellance.
