Church Suppers (2005, Hardcover, Spiral)

I decied to buy this book as a friend of mine has it and let me borrow it. I found many recipes that I wanted to try and instead of trying to copy them,I decided to purchase the book.The book has many wonderful pictures and the recipes are very down to earth comfort food.

I saw this cookbook " CHURCH SUPPERS " on QVC... It looked great! They said it has recipes from Churches from ALL OVER! And they do!

I have one... And now I'm selling them. :-)

They aren't the HARD GOURMET recipes that take forever to fix and has strange looking and sounding ingredients.

It's more of a Home Cooking Cookbook that EVERYONE WILL LOVE. And all are TRIED & TRUE recipes from the Ladies in all of the Chirches that particpated in making this cookbook.

These are simple down-to-earth recipes from ingredients that you most likely already have in your cupboard. A friend of mine purchased this from QVC and let me borrow it. I loved so many of the recipes, I decided to buy one on ebay instead of trying to copy my favorites.

I watched them cook using this book one night on QVC. I called and ordered it but I was put on a waitlist. Then I thought Ebay has everything and sure enough they did. So I purchased my new cookbook and it was here in time for me to use it for the holidays. It had good recipes in it submitted from church folks all over the country. The good things like you take to homecoming that everyone remembers. I used this book during the holidays. I loved it.

Love this cookbook. Lots of good recipes with ingredients I understand and have at home, easy access. Bought this cookbook for my mother in law, loved it, and decided to get myself one. Waited for a great deal, on ebay, which I got.
