The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by Original Soundtrack (CD, Dec-2005, Walt Disney Records)

I absolutley loved this soundtrack. If you're a writer like me, you would find that this soundtrack just helps your mind think very clearly about a particular part you are writing about. For instance, if you're writing a story and it's an action part, you would listen to track 1. If your characters are about to remark on a wonderful journey through a mystical woods, you would listen to track 7.

I really like all of Harry Gregson-Williams' music and enjoy listening to his score for The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe.

The music is wonderful and is enjoyed by our whole family of 8. We have listened to it literally dozens of times already. There are 2 selections that we tend to skip over - one is the Stone Table and I do not remember the name of the other. They are more on the dark side and we don't care as much for them. The others though, are a beautiful blending of music, and are nice as either background music or to listen to in a fuller way. Guests in our home have commented favorably on the music playing in the background and asked what we were playing when this CD was on. We highly recommend this CD and we may even buy another copy of this because my husband likes to take it to work to listen to and we want it here at home also. :) Excellent!!!

Beautiful music. I especially like Imogen Heap's song! It is the song, played at the last scene of the movie "The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe", that made me search out this soundtrack. And also made me buy Imogen Heap's solo Cd & Frou Frou CD, which I now love.

I play the clarinet and to me classical music is a great part of my life. To have beautiful classical music in Narnia is great to hear on a CD. I like the 12th song because it has a lot of different kinds of instruments put together in one song. I think the composer of the music did an excellent job on writing the music. When I saw the movie the soundtrack for each scene was phenomenal and had lots of great instruments in there. (age 12)

I love most of the songs on this CD. I don't care too much for the battle type music, but that's only a portion of the CD, which you can easily skip past if you're not in the mood. It's arranged so that most of that type of music is all together. The songs by Imogene Heap and Alanis Morrisette are excellent!

The CD seems more like a sampling than a soundtrack. The songs are not very long, but it's pleasant to listen to.

I really liked the Narnia movie, and I really like soundtracks, so I decided to buy this one for my collection. I really enjoyed the first half, with The Blitz, the "train song", and the first music into Narnia. However, as the CD went on, I found it to be lacking some (I think) important music. For example, it does not include the music as they attempt to cross the icy river, only the music as they are sent down the rapids ("To Aslan's Camp"). Furthermore, the music "The Battle" does not have much action music in it, and cut out a lot of the battle's music from the movie. Finally, I am not wild about the pop music at the end; I would have preferred more score.
All in all, a good choice, but it could have had more action music.

I bought the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack because I'd heard it before and liked how it added to the movie. I looked other places but it was a lot more expensive. It's great music and I enjoy listening to it a lot.

The first CD that I bought was the BBC version of the Chronicles. It didn't sound like the movie version that I remembered, so I bought the movie version on E-bay. It was great, what an enjoyable CD

I love the music, it's one of my favorite cd's! It has a variety of moods and is just fun to listen to!
