Nice reading material for myself because it has all chronicles in one huge volume. It does not have illustrations; this one is purely meant to have all seven volumes together in one volume.

I decided to buy it because I remembered The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe from grade school and I saw it for sale and I had to have it.

I began this series when I was in the second grade. I obtained aand read all of the books by the time I was 14. I loved them for the mystery, excitement and the fictional world showing God's never ending love and sacrifice for us and how He never leaves us, no matter what. I would recommend this book for anyone who loves to read the classics or loves to read period.

i bought it cause i saw the movie and wanted to read the book... so much better then the movie. loved it so much i gave it as a christmas present.

I love the story. I heard about the book because of my friend LiAna, and I liked it so much that I decided to buy one for myself.

I have been searching for this book at a price I could afford of course. The desription left nothing out, nor did it fool me into thinking it was in very good description! It was shipped almost immediately after I paid. The seller accepted pay pal which makes paying so much simpler. I was watching several items, but this was truly my best win, since I have been waiting for my brother to let me read but he keeps letting others first! Darn him! And I wanted to keep the book! This is a BEAUTIFUL book! The cover is BEAUTIFUL!

C.S. Lewis is a terrific Christian author! These books have a lot of variety and great wholesome values. The price was incredibly affordable. Half.com is always better than Amazon or even a membership to Barnes and Noble. Thank you for this opportunity. I bought this book for my little brother to read (he is 8 years old). I started reading some of it with him and I think I would also enjoy reading it myself (I am 22 years old). CS Lewis is a wonderful writer.

It was all of the books in one that my granddaughter wanted by C. S. Lewis. She was thrilled. I bought it for her as a gift at Christmas time.

I'm not much of a reader, but this book has kept me hooked. Not hard to read or follow. Great for almost any age. It's easy enough to read for a younger kid, but deep enough to keep adults interested.

They are an easy read. Sometimes when you just want something easy on the mind but fun at the same time, these are it. I love his imagination but since he doesn't go into much detail, your mind can just enjoy the story.

This movie, which is about 3 hours long, is based on one of C.S. Lewis' best fiction writings. This was his first of the 7 Narnia Chronicles. The other six came as a result of his success on this book, he had not planned to write any others. He draws heavily on Christian thoughts and values with Aslem (the Lion) being a type of Jesus (the Lion of Judea)even to the point of him sacrificing himself for a sinner. There is a lot of Christian symbology in this movie some obvious and some very hard to spot at first.
The movie follows fairly close to the book but there are some differences. And even though there are some battle scenes (much more than in the book)it is well done and one should not be hesitant to allow children of all ages to watch it.
We can all learn good Christian values from this movie while enjoying a great fantasy movie. And if you want to understand some of the deeper symbology there is a book out there with one hundred questions on Narnia. For instance the professor in the story had himself been to Narnia and the Wardrobe had been made from the wood of an apple tree the seed of which came from an apple from Narnia.
Relax and enjoy a good movie.

The best feature of this particular book is that it is several books in one big volume. I am challenging my grandson to read a Christian based book as large as Harry Potter's books and this one was perfect.
The soft cover seems to be just a little flimsy and I am concerned that it might not last the duration of my 9 year old reading it.
Otherwise it is a greatly inspirational novel capturing the imagination of both young and old and I would recommend it to anyone who loves to read.

I love this version of C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia because you get all 7 original books combined in one large volume. Not only is it well written, but i am fascinated by the content. This is an excellent read for anyone and is by all means NOT just a "childrens" book. Fabulous!

This book is great for any person over the age of 12. The stories can be read over and over every year or every decade. I read them over and over.

Once I saw the Chronicles of Narnia Movie, I was hooked. I needed to know more about Narnia and the other Novels it entailed. I was not disappointed each of the 7 novels were full of adventure. I was amazed at C.S. Lewis' created. What a gifted writer! This will be part of my Permanent Family Collection, an easy read for the Entire Familyl, young and adults alike.
