Christmas with the Kranks (2005)
If I keep renting movies this bad, the fast-forward button on my remote will be worn out in no time. Kranks is one of the worst holiday movies EVER MADE!!! And that's not saying much!
If you're a Tim Allen fan or a Jamie Lee Curtis fan you might enjoy this movie, but chances are you'll find it just as unfunny and downright ridiculous as I did.
Have you seen the preview for this movie? If you have, you'll have already seen every single funny moment this movie has to offer.
On the plus side, this movie does teach you a valuable lesson about christmas, but so does How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which is a movie you can actually site through without wanting to pull out your eyeballs.

Hey wow! Tim Allen & Jamie Lee Curtis. Two Great actors! This has got to be good!
Well, Jamie Lee Curtis is usually bold, outgoing, and does extremely well fitting into her roles. In this movie, she's a insecure house wife who hides away(hides her god given talent too). She reminded me of Goofy with the way she laughed. It just wasn't the Jamie everyone knows. Tim Allen. His funny Tanned/Botox injection scene was shortly lived, and might I add pretty much the only funny scene of his in the movie other than him dangling from the roof by a rope. He plays a guy who thinks only of himself, and in the very end changes into Mr. Nice Guy. (I was hoping for, but He didn't do his 'Oh oh oh' thing, like he does in Home Improvment)
Hey, the frozen cat on the icey sidewalk was pretty funny! Poor cat from across the road always gets its tail stepped on for being in their driveway.
I only rate it average because it took so long to work up to the funny parts. What you seen in previews... Those are almost all the funny parts. Granted-It was okay in my opinion, and it came out pretty much the appropriate time of the year, but I was fairly disappointed. I expected more.

Read the book tooI read the book, then bought the DVD. It is a story that you really don't expect from John Grishem It was a fun book to read, and an even funnier movie with Tim Allen. Read the book, then watch the movie. Fun doubled.

Funny movie given as a gift to our grand daughter, age 3, when we found out she loves to watch the movie as she goes to sleep at her house. She has yet to watch the movie all the way through.

A bit comically with 2 grown men dressing up their house for christmas and each one is in compition on who's is better and brighter. the wives and children become disgusted and leave on christmas eve. the men make up and get their families and have a wonderful holiday.

This was such a funny movie. I don't go to the movies alot and I try to buy the movies after they are available for purchase so I can watch them over and over. Tim Allen is a good actor and I enjoy his movies. This is a clean, holiday movie and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It has a nice ending.

Christmas With The KranksI read the book "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham and thought it was hilarious. So I found this movie based on the book, "kind of". I felt that the acting was mediocre. Where they tried to ad spice and depart from the book, I felt, became stupid and absurd. I was very dissapointed in the movie. If they had stuck with the book and had better acting, I believe it would have been more beliveable. I give the book an A+++ and the movie a C-.

Christmas with the KranksSaw this in the movies and wanted to buy a copy. Copy from seller was good but i was given a neg feedback 5 days after auction ended.She received money 7-8 days after auction and i received movie within 15 days.Says she can't take it off, her mistake. Only neg feedback in 500+ auctions. Uncalled for. Will not buy on ebay again.

Christmas with the cranksWe bought this movie as a replacement movie (we were robbed). This is a great family movie for older kids and parents. It's really funny and show's how parents could go a little nuts when the kids move on. We enjoyed this movie a lot.

I missed seeing this movie while it played in the theaters, and kept hearing how much other people enjoyed it. So I ordered it on "ebay" knowing it was a easy, quick, affortable way to get and view it. I wasn't dissapointed. I really enjoyed both the story and the comedy. One of the better movies I've seen lately!

This is a fast-paced, hillarious movie. I don't think it will become the classic that "It's a Wonderful Life" is but it is a good, clean family movie that kids and adults alike can enjoy. Parts are more stupid than funny, but it is all good for a laugh. It is in our Christmas movie library now and we'll probably watch it again, but it won't be a "Must Watch" every Christmas like some of the others we have.

I heard from a friend about the movie Christmas with the Kranks,so I decided to look on EBAy,it is so easy whatever I am looking for from DVD's to clothing or anything else I just type in what I am looking for and it is almost always there. I enjoy DVD's and know I can buy most of what I am looking for.
I bought this movie because I like Tim Allen and I figured this movie would be great to watch. It was a good movie but not what I expected I thought it would have had more comedy in it with Tim being in the movie.
